Medical Gas Installer 6010 – 32 Hour Course
Medical Gas Certification is a requirement in Florida and in most of the United States. Plumbing companies in Florida who install, and repair, these life safety systems and equipment must be certified by an approved training agency that is certified by the Florida Construction Industry Licensing Board.
The certified medical gas installers shall maintain their certification by showing proof of brazing performance every 6 months. Students will learn the NFPA 99 Gas and Vacuum Systems code following the ASSE 6010 Standard. Students will also learn brazing skills using oxygen, acetylene torches with rosebud tips while purging the system with Nitrogen. Learning correct brazing skills is one of the most important aspects of installing medical gas and vacuum systems. We have been conducting Medical Gas courses in Florida since 1995 and received CILB approval in 2000 when it became law in Florida.
We are certified to offer Medical Gas Training through the Florida Construction Industry Licensing Board #0001013, our course number is #0001291.
